A new mixtape, mixed by DJ Irie Dole of Jah Warrior Shelter Hi-Fi and DJ Crown of Brimstone Sounds, is here in time for summer. The mixtape hosted by Messenjah Selah includes brand new Messenjah Selah tunes, as well as some of the older, more familiar ones.
The first section, Roots, is a reggae mix by the Bay Area’s Irie Dole, and the second section, Branches, mixed by Seattle’s DJ Crown, has more of a hip-hop vibe.
Messenjah Selah collaborates on various tracks with many great artistes, including Jahdan Blakkamore, Rocker-T, Ras Tree, Kulcha Knox, Mykal Somer, Familyman, and Ras Kofi.
